I am Itzel.
And I was born to hold this space.
When I was born, my parents could not agree on my name.
So a physician named me instead.
Ixchel.
The Mayan goddess of healing, of the moon, a weaver of cosmic threads. The deity whose daughters are healers — women who turn inward while the world expands outward, so they can bring back medicine for the collective.
A name I have carried with pride my entire life.
In Mayan tradition, the greatest honour a healer could receive was to be named by another healer. A physician is a modern healer.
Everything came into place.
But a name is a promise, not a destination. What I didn't know then was that fulfilling it would require everything.
The calling inside me sent me on a 25-year journey — through neuroscience, quantum physics, consciousness studies, and spiritual traditions. Not as a student collecting certificates, but as someone who needed to find her own freedom first.
Every course I took. Every mentor I sat with. Every breakthrough I lived. Every time I cleared a layer of programming that had kept me small — it was preparing me to hold this space for you. To fulfil the promise that my name imprinted in me.
